Here is the second part of my Genesis coverage. I apologize for the time span between the first and second part because as I mention on the first part I had a week of mid-term exam so I must forget about photography stuff and back to the reality. I still have more photos but I decided to just dump it to Flickr but again you will have to wait until next week because I still have a week full of mid-term exam next week (yes, I swear I’m not kidding or trying to find an excuse to not working on these photos).
To start it of, here is a video coverage hawk’n’poke crew put up together. (If the video didn’t appear click this link)
I learn a view mistake here and there from the first part so I decided to try a more photographic approach here so I’m not gonna commenting every single photos because it turns out I’m sucks at it. So I will let the photo speak itself. I also tried a different approach on the photo editing and I actually really pleased by how it comes out. What do you guys think?

The E36 goes to a man named Aldio. Little story aside, Aldio is actually my senior in school. We never really talked to each other so I didn’t know if he actually registered his car to participate on the event. And more funny thing is I totally didn’t realize if it was his car when I was at the event because in my memory it has a BBS rims instead of AC Schnitzer. It’s a narrow world indeed. Btw, even though I always been a BMW + BBS combo diehard fan I actually digging the AC Schnitzer combo, especially if it pairs with black paint. Another timeless combination. Also, no matter what size, colors or kind of fitment it is, the Enkei RPF1 will always looks good on everything.

Really can’t get enough with this pairs.
I always being a sucker for white Honda. Whether it’s old or new, a Honda will always looks good if it’s white, period.
Digging the uniqe Ken Block-style Fifteen52 wheels on this Civic.
If there was any “supercar” that pick up my interest in the the show that would be this R8. The Mugello Blue paint and PPI Razor bodykit really wins my heart this time.

Whether you love it or hate it a poke fitment is something that you should respect because not everyone can do it right.
See? Even kids digging it. LOL
A beautifully executed EG hatch. If I owned an EG hatch daily driver this is definitely what I will do to it.
The Speed Creed guys rolled in….

Mex’s 3rd-gen MX-5. A perfect car for cruising on sunny sunday afternoon. Can’t get enough looking at that ass….
Not really digging the sticker-bombed front lip, but overall it’s a sick car. Would be perfect if the rust stays on the hood though but hey, it’s not my car. Hats up to you sir for showing the potential of an old Starlet.
A few Cressida drifters rolled in to the show….
That’s it for my Genesis coverage. Stay tune to my Flickr because I still have a lot “leftovers” but worth to post stuff to come.
Have a fun weekend everyone!

Here is the first part of my coverage of last week’s Genesis event. I apologize for being a little bit late because (as usual) I was busy with school shit that always kills my time *sigh*. There are still a huge load of picture but you will have to wait next weekend (hopefully) because I have a mid-term exam next week. Back to the event, I was really impressed by the variety of car that come to the event. I didn’t try to cover all the cars but I choose some that pick up my interest. I didn’t really talk to someone in there so I don’t really have much information of any of these cars. But I try to improvise by searching on the internet and read through magazine.
One think that I have to apologize is I’m not covering the license plate. I tried to but I’m sucks at it and it instantly ruin the photograph. Anyway, enjoy the coverage.
By the time I get in there most of the owner were cleaning up their car because of hard rain that pour the location and it makes the weather a rather gloomy. Thankfully the rain didn’t come back. Btw this two pairs looking rather nice even with their top attached.
This is the first time I saw this E23 in person. My main vintage BMW love is E28, but I instantly fell in love with E23 when I saw an this car. Damn, I wish it’s not rare car so I don’t have to buy from a collector to own a mint condition one.
Vino’s USDM-converted Jazz and Hafidz’s 406. I don’t really like the rusty beat up fender and hood on Vino’s Jazz but I do appreciate the amount of work for the USDM Fit front end convertion. It’s still pretty rare to see a USDM convertion like this in Indonesia after all. Make me wanting to do the same thing to a Corolla or Civic.
911 with yellow lips ADV.1. The 991 is no doubt have the best body line of all water-cooled generation 911 ever made.
This san-yon GT-R was flexxin with it’s slammed stance and polished TE37s.
Diwan’s slammed Z3.
This is probably the craziest Honda City ever built. I normally dislike a poke fitment, especially on economic car like Honda City, but this car is an exception. It somehow reminds me of the Japanese USDM-style that happening these days. The crazy fitment and the cleanliness is what make this car stands out. Also the bumper quick release and the bronze BBS make this car looks tough. Once again it makes me wanting to do a same thing with a Corolla or 2nd/3rd-gen Accord. Btw, I saw this car several time on Instagram and some local forum and didn’t realize it was a Honda City until I saw it in person lol.
The most badass car on the show was this Shelby GT500. This was the first time I saw a GT500 in person and I still can’t believe this thing does exist in Indonesia. Word can’t describe how gnarly this car was. Funny thing that happened to me I accidently walking behind this car when the owner rev it for some spectators and my ear was ringing lol.
Mogi Soedarsono’s E28.

This ZN6 looking rather functional with Advan RGs and TRD big brake caliper.
Supra MkII/Celica XX with turbo 1JZ & Work Equip 01. I can’t believe I forgot what kind of wheels are those
The ///M Owner Club Indonesia posse.
I’ll end the first part of the coverage with this bagged Accord rolled in to the show, which means there are still a lot more car that came to the event.
See you next weekend! x
Because Gangnam Style is already dead… And this is waaaaaay much cooler than Gangnam. Well, at least for the car guy’s version.
Also, you can spot codyleebrady did a Lil B-style cooking dance on the back and Mike Burroughs from Stanceworks humping on the front.

I did a little bit post-processing on some of my photos which I consider my best shot from last year’s IIMS Drift War event which I previously posted the raw image on Flickr. This event is the first event that I documented with my camera. I just bought my first DSLR approximately 2 months before the event so I almost had no idea how to use a DSLR but I do know how to panning from a quick research on the internet and some practice. So I was really stoked by the result because when I did this post-processing I didn’t even think that the result would be somewhat look like this. This high-contrast style of post-processing really grew on me. So I will keep practice and practice to make it perfect.
