Last post in 2014, a bunch of photos I gathered at 2014 Indonesian International Motor Show. Not all of my plan for this year can be realized because turned out the first semester of college was more time-consuming than I thought. I apologize for the lack of content in the second semester of this year because like I said earlier college stuff pretty much consume most of my time and thinking.
This year I bought a cheap Nikon point-and-shoot 35mm film camera in a very mint condition and start shooting film with it. I found it’s hard to get into shooting film because films are getting harder and harder to find in here these day and could be very expensive so I just use a regular Fuji Superia 200 which is still expensive for me. I didn’t want to shoot expired films (which is a lot cheaper and easier to find) because the the color accuracy of film is the reason why I decided to shoot film and you can’t get that from an expired film. Fortunately I managed to shot 5 rolls of Superias this year that i’m going to develop as soon as I got the time (and money) for it.
I also purchase a motorcycle as my new daily/project bike to replace my old moped. It’s a 2010 Yamaha FZ150i (V-ixion). It’s a small 150cc bike but I think it’s a perfect start for me to enter the world of proper biking and improve my riding. It’s also a very common bike in here too so I don’t have to worry about the availability of parts and service. I decided to go with secondhand bike because I planned to modified it so I don’t have to worry about losing a warranty. Lately I’ve been spending my money to purchase a bunch of aftermarket parts for it and slowly building it to improve in both performance and aesthetic department. The goal is to make it a bike that I can ride everyday to campus but can also go for a long-distance trip and trackday on weekend and the most important thing, looks good while still being reliable and cheap to maintain. I think I’m gonna make a detailed article for it here once the build gets into a certain stage where I feel satisfied with it.
Anyway I hope in 2015 I can be more productive with my photography. I hope I can attend as many event as possible and make as many connection as possible.
So yeah, that’s it from me in 2014. Hope you ladies and gents have a fun and safe holiday. x
